I’m one of those newbies lol. I’d appreciate it if you explained of the joys and headaches of preordering

I have experienced half a dozen pre-orders, always for high demand, highly hyped black rifles just like this.

The shit that can and will go wrong:

  1. Longer than promised ETAs, much longer.

  2. Price increases between pre order and delivery. BS reasons will be provided.

  3. Product delivered not being as advertised, different barrel, stock, sights, magazines etc.

  4. Pre-order cancelled after you have already paid for a deposit due to the manufacture failing to meet the demand and deliver on the product.

  5. Liberal government bans the product before the rifle makes it to market, or worse bans the rifle as it’s already purchased and being shipped to your house..

All we can say is that we have a very good relationship with our brothers over at Gravel who have spent YEARS to make this work. Looks promising.

You're absolutely delusional if you think it's not going to be targeted by liberals

Nothing is certain right now, dont get upset with them for trying to bring us cool shit and being hopeful about it.

So, if it actually works, it's gonna get banned?

Yes. Sucks to have firearms as a HOBBY and live in Canada.

I think i’ve gotten to the point where I can just shorten this to read “Sucks to live in Canada”

I’ve got a question, if I preorder and put the money down, and it gets banned before I get it.. do I get a full refund, or just store credit? RDSC is offering preorders, but if it gets banned only offers store credit instead of refunds. This is the deciding factor lol

I ordered and paid for a firearm 2 years ago. 1 week later it was banned.

I received it 3 months later. It went directly into my safe. No refund.

That depends ENTIRELY on the retailer you purchase from and the policy they offer...

Gravel can't even get a new shipment of Mossberg shotguns secured...

How about all the other companies that have tried to make things work... your statement actually makes you sound more crazy in the Canadian gun market... it's sad to say but a dream will ruin the launch. I don't think we will ever see them.

Liberal government bans the product before the rifle makes it to market, or worse bans the rifle as it’s already purchased and being shipped to your house.

I'd argue that banning the rifle before it gets shipped is worse than after because at least if it's after it's shipped to your house you still end up with a gun... if it gets banned before shipping you end up with no gun and a high chance of no money back.

One scenario you’ve paid for the gun in full, the other you only lose the deposit.

One scenario you get a gun, one scenario you lose the deposit.

In our case we would honour the deposit as store credit.

Edit: my snark is retracted. I didnt realize a dealer is OP lol.

You may get it on time, you may get it eventually or you may not get it at all. Only thing for certain is you’re out the money as soon as it’s sent.
