Misc Makasi (FAL-AR hybrid) approved by the RCMP as NON-RESTRICTED

Post image

According to CGN it was granted a NR FRT #198428 very recently. Any BFL/verifiers here care to check?

Edit: Multiple BFLs have verified it to be true NR, and the importer/distributor is Gravel Agency

From the manufacturer's website:

The Makasi marries the functional aesthetic of the FAL with the familiar handling of AR-style controls. It features a short stroke gas piston system and bufferless recoil system and operates with a non-reciprocating side charging handle. The Para-style stock is also side-folding and is supported with a robust two-screw mounting system that allows for firing in both the folded and deployed positions.

So what does that mean for crypto owners? They just get their shit banned and no compensation? Doesn't that go agaisnt the court decision?

Pretty sure someone (maybe the RCMP) said after it got a profib FRT that people shouldn’t have bought it in the first place because was never ā€œlegalā€ to begin with. I’m not sure what court decision you are referencing.

The previous court decisions of the gungrab being legal since we are getting paid fairly for it.Ā

I’m not familiar with any of the court decisions saying that. My understanding of the court challenges is that the government overstepped using OICs to ban firearms and the courts disagree and say the government didn’t over step. I haven’t seen anything about court challenges regarding the buy back program it’s self.
