Misc Makasi (FAL-AR hybrid) approved by the RCMP as NON-RESTRICTED

According to CGN it was granted a NR FRT #198428 very recently. Any BFL/verifiers here care to check?

Edit: Multiple BFLs have verified it to be true NR, and the importer/distributor is Gravel Agency

From the manufacturer's website:

The Makasi marries the functional aesthetic of the FAL with the familiar handling of AR-style controls. It features a short stroke gas piston system and bufferless recoil system and operates with a non-reciprocating side charging handle. The Para-style stock is also side-folding and is supported with a robust two-screw mounting system that allows for firing in both the folded and deployed positions.

Why does it matter if it’s RCMP approved as NR, poly and the liberals will just OIC ban it later.

Crazy how some of y'all just buy guns for the love of the game haha. I personally have mental blocks when dropping $1000+ on something I can't use after a few months to a year due to restless gun ban syndrome that the LPC has.

It matters since the confiscation will fail and they'll either have 1 million armed criminals on their hands or they'll be forced to grandfather the rifles. So you'll be able to buy one and keep it once all of us are grandfathered.

no concessions. legalize all the guns for vetted gun owners. we're not irresponsible children. they want you to think that we can't be trusted with an ever increasing amount of styles and types of guns as if we're causing issues. we're not.

As long as there's a window of time where I can try one to see if it's trash or not, and if it's good, buy one asap Then ill be happy. I don't care what they do about it's classification after that.
