pretty much:
Get a range membership. SPFGA or CHAS recommended. Phoenix if you want indoor
Go on a weekend.
Talk to people. Most are very friendly.

SPFGA is great. Lots of value for the money you spend on a membership, leagues, all that good stuff. You also get unlimited camping on the property.

If I was on that side of town, I'd be very tempted by SPFGA for the camping and shooting. Is there hunting there too?

I believe there is at least one hunting property connected to the site and at least one ACA zone between the city and the range.

If you have a semi auto 22 and a shotgun, join a multigun match at CHAS or SPFGA (or both).
