Gun and gear reviews New Gun - Adler Arms RF224

Post image

I got myself an Adler Arms RF-224 today and boy I really like the look and compact size of this firearm. I was surprised to learn its a 10/22 copy and takes Ruger mags and it also comes with an adapter for Remington 597 mags. Also 2 Ruger 10/22 rounds mags. I am pleased as punch right now. Can't wait to take it to the range and break it in.

I wouldn’t call those “Ruger 10/22” mags. They’re clone BX1 mags, and they’re not exactly the same as the Ruger ones. That said, I own one of these and I have only a few gripes about it, the warranty process being one of them.

Can agree with the warranty, sent it in back in early march for a bolt and charging handle replacement (bolt cracked) and its looking like its still going to be a 3 week wait just to see it still.

Mine took almost 3 months for a simple pin replacement.

Updating on this, latest message is from 28th April. "The gunsmith found the bolt receiver pin hole was too elongated for proper repair. We're ordering you a replacement rifle from Adler Arms in Turkey." With no ETA for it shipping.

Yikes… that sucks, but it seems they looked at it a little quicker than they got to mine!
