Gun and gear reviews New Gun - Adler Arms RF224

Post image

I got myself an Adler Arms RF-224 today and boy I really like the look and compact size of this firearm. I was surprised to learn its a 10/22 copy and takes Ruger mags and it also comes with an adapter for Remington 597 mags. Also 2 Ruger 10/22 rounds mags. I am pleased as punch right now. Can't wait to take it to the range and break it in.

Hope yours works well! Mine came with one working mag, and one mag that fails to feed every other round lol

I’ve noticed some ammo comes with a coating on the casings, some kind of wax. That stuff ends up gumming up the magazines. Given me so much troubles. Ended up cleaning with alcohol, dry lube and epoxy the magazine if you plan on keeping them loaded. Plastic will separate and give all sorts of problems. I had the same issue with failures but now i have 10 running 100%
