This also applies to British Columbia.  Years ago I drove across the border and because the Border Guard saw my NRA Sticker on my back window he asked if I had any guns in the car and I said no.  He asked if he could search my vehicle and I said sure.  He asked me to pull over and get out which I did so he could do a search.  He found nothing in the car and told me to have a good time visiting.  I drove off smiling and my paranoid wife said where is it!  I said in my pocket.  He didn't ask me if I had anything on me so I wasn't lying.😁
