Application / Regulation advice Will the handgun freeze ever go away?

I mean, we need pistols for hunting and self-defence if a bear is running at you and is near.

It's funny how many people think they would do anything. The Conservatives, like any other party, pander to a base. The problem being that there will be bigger problems at hand that will need to be dealt with (housing, drugs, crime, medical). Eventually it will remain a carrot on a stick to try and keep that base voting for them in the next election. Promises to change classification systems, undo OIC bans, etc are nothing but political brownie points, especially in the world we have today where things are looking grim globally.

Too many people put faith in a party to undo these things purely because they are the opposite of the other party that did them. I feel safe in saying if we had a conservative majority, we most likely wouldn't see much change beyond the idea of grandfathering/giving amnesty to those that didn't participate in the buy back.

The conservatives lose nothing by following through on their campaign promises.

They lose everything by rug pulling them.

It's funny how many people actively try to downplay this.

Not following through on promises is why O'Toole lost.

During leadership convention he promised things that during the election campaign he said he wouldnt do.

The base stayed home. refused to

and the funniest part is now the Liberals all go "well we need someone more moderate like O'toole" despite calling him trump north when he was in the spotlight.
