Application / Regulation advice Will the handgun freeze ever go away?
I mean, we need pistols for hunting and self-defence if a bear is running at you and is near.

No one knows if the transfer and sale of handguns will be welcomed back, but your assertion of using one for hunting or bear defence is wrong. Prior to C-21 you were not allowed to take your handgun on crown land for hunting or self defense purposes anyways.
