Application / Regulation advice Will the handgun freeze ever go away?

I mean, we need pistols for hunting and self-defence if a bear is running at you and is near.

Chances aren't zero, but I also don't expect it to be within my functional life time.

I anticipate an attempt at a buyback for handguns at some point , once they've had the "huge success" of the ASFCP as a proof of concept.
