No, its illegal to convert a firearm to a bulpup
This gun started life as a Ruger 44mag rifle and converted. If you built it ground up like this it would be legal

Technically, .44 mag might fit in cloth .30-06 belts from an M1919, so its legal as long as they were made before 1945z 1 u/ThePoeticJester Apr 12 '26 The guy has a full video how he did it all so maybe if you took a look it could be done just without bulpup but I dont remember.
