News / Politics / Activism Gun Grab Rally at Cambridge City Hall for KW/Guelph/Cambridge

Post image

I saw the other post about having rallies in every city and wanted to put this out there for anyone that’s in the area and interested. Last week I emailed my MP about the insane wait time for PAL applications(I was told to expect a 6 month wait from the 2-3 month point). I wanted to lend my voice to the call for more resources to be made available to the Chief Firearms Officer of Ontario so that they actually have the tools to do their job. She sent me the info about this rally in her reply, hope to see some of you guys there!

How do we know those MPs won’t later switch sides to the Liberals and support the confiscation? Conservative MPs seem to be traitorous scumbags lately.

Politicians in general are slimy bastards but I mean, unless you’re organizing or attending a different rally the alternative is stay home and do nothing… Personally I regret not getting out and making my voice heard earlier, if things get worse I don’t want to look back like I do at the handgun/“assault weapons” bans and know that I didn’t at least try to do something about it. We can’t control what the politicians in attendance do or don’t do down the line but we can take advantage of the event to raise awareness for the cause either way.

Blaine Calkins has actually been awesome on this issue and is always backing firearms owners. There is a few MPs in the CPC that I actually genuinely trust and Blaine Calkins would be one of them. He's been at several of the CCFR protests.
