Buy recommendations TM22 or another SKS?
I recently picked up a Chinese unissued SKS and now I’m thinking about getting one more firearm. I can’t decide if I should grab another SKS and throw it into an aftermarket stock, or just go with a TM22.
I won't be going to the range much, probably only a couple times a year, so it’s not like this will see a ton of shooting. I also don’t have space (or really the need) for a bigger collection, so this would be my last one for a while.
Price-wise, the TM22 Feather is the cheapest, the Pro is somewhere in the middle, and a second SKS with mods would easily end up over $1000.
If TM22 then which one? the feather, 16inch or 18in pro model?
What would you do in my situation?

Get one of the brand new model Ruger 10/22 in black magpul chassis (instantly recognizable on the shelf because of the magazine “cutout”.). If you were to shoot that at a range , people are going to notice it way more than either another TM22 or SKS. Maybe it’s not modern enough for your aesthetic tastes, and maybe you’re not a volume shooter, but it’s under your budget and I promise you it’s a sexy ass rifle. Since you won’t be shooting a lot you also won’t have to clean it much 😆
