Buy recommendations TM22 or another SKS?

I recently picked up a Chinese unissued SKS and now I’m thinking about getting one more firearm. I can’t decide if I should grab another SKS and throw it into an aftermarket stock, or just go with a TM22.

I won't be going to the range much, probably only a couple times a year, so it’s not like this will see a ton of shooting. I also don’t have space (or really the need) for a bigger collection, so this would be my last one for a while.

Price-wise, the TM22 Feather is the cheapest, the Pro is somewhere in the middle, and a second SKS with mods would easily end up over $1000.

If TM22 then which one? the feather, 16inch or 18in pro model?

What would you do in my situation?

I've never been much of a 22lr guy, I find them kind of boring, especially when we had so many other options. However I grabbed a TM22 Feather just for fun, only a couple hundred bucks. Dressed it up with a bunch of banned gun gear and it's really a blast at the range. Grab some 25 round mags and go to town!

What’s your feedback on it? Have you tried the full metal version as well? Is there any difference in firing or ejection issues, or is it mostly just a difference in feel?

If you can afford the aluminum version I reccomend it. It just feels way more premium. Its the most reliable semi auto .22 I currently own. Just make sure when you are cleaning the bolt that you put the extractors/springs back in the right sides. Its easy to get them flipped. Throw a decent red dot and a grip of your choice and some M-LOK covers on it. Great time at the range. Strongly reccomend getting some of the 15 or 25 round mags!
