Buy recommendations TM22 or another SKS?

I recently picked up a Chinese unissued SKS and now I’m thinking about getting one more firearm. I can’t decide if I should grab another SKS and throw it into an aftermarket stock, or just go with a TM22.

I won't be going to the range much, probably only a couple times a year, so it’s not like this will see a ton of shooting. I also don’t have space (or really the need) for a bigger collection, so this would be my last one for a while.

Price-wise, the TM22 Feather is the cheapest, the Pro is somewhere in the middle, and a second SKS with mods would easily end up over $1000.

If TM22 then which one? the feather, 16inch or 18in pro model?

What would you do in my situation?

People buying an sks for 1k are fucked imo. If you dont have a .22 why buy the same gun twice ?

I want a modern-looking one to cope 😔 but a smaller caliber just ain’t enough cope.

Honestly u should just go ahead and Bubba the one u have. U can put all fully reversible parts on anyways. I prefer mine bubba'd. And I love my tm22 for more accurate plinking. If you really try to shoot precise targets with the tm22 you forget about the lack of umph.

Say this now but in a few more years the value of the sks can only go up. No more production and one of only few semi autos still legal. Youre living in the past thinking its not worth 1k
