Gun and gear reviews Savage 220 setup.

Post image

I got a Savage 220 for 1049 at Canadian Tire ( 30x Canadian Tire Money)

What does everyone run for a dedicated slug scope? rings/scope recommendations

Sorry, no feet pics today.

fyi, they had a non camo 212, and a 220 in-stock for 999 last I was there. Cheapest in Canada

It's funny, maybe it's all CTs, their prices used to be awful at my local one, but last time I was in their, they had the best price I've seen on many guns. 10-15% under the cheapest prices I'd seen online.

Had a chance to shoot the 220 yet? I assume that's the 20ga model, and 212 the 12ga? I've heard good reports on the accuracy on them, 2moa or so. Neat gun, would be great for 100-200yd hunting.

I haven't shot it yet, I could just fire off a random sabot into a tree, no sights or scope yet. If I want to throw away 7$, I'll buy a McChicken

CT low-key has some great prices. The downside is that nothing is on the websites. Each CT is different. My local CT changed owners last year, and the old owner has to sell all firearms to the new owner. The new owner got cheap prices and offloaded the old stock

The Savage 220 I got was on a whim, pulled into Belleville Ontario, and checked out the CT, the largest selection of guns I've seen, even compared to BassPro ottawa. The manager said he had seen the prices going up with steel tsrrifs and ordered 12 of everything, kept the prices pre tarrif. A true GOAT
