Application / Regulation advice How to ship ammo Ont to BC

Moving this summer. Not driving and for reasons have to fly.

I know some airlines offer 5kg ammo checked in luggage once declared. I'm not sure if that's 5kg per bag or total per passenger.

Thing is I have a couple thousand rounds to move.

Canada Post says it's dangerous goods. Looks like UPS or Purolator only ships it via third-party.

Seema like it'll be more costly to move than to rebuy.

is there something I can do or best to sell it?

Im either looking for a better moving company or some of my ammo might end up in one of the kitchen or garage stuff boxes. Idk, my wife does the packing

Unfortunately, I can't change moving companies.

Then throw some ammo into various boxes and let it go. Or subject your self to some financial loss
