Fix my gun Need help: Crusader Alcor handguard screw specs + contact info?

Hey guys,

I’m trying to sort out an issue with a Crusader handguard kit for the Alcor 223 and was hoping someone here might have experience with it.

I need to replace a few screws from the handguard, but I haven't been able to find any specs or replacement parts anywhere. Bullseye North suggested contacting the manufacturer, but Crusader doesn’t seem to have a clear contact channel.

Just wondering if anyone here:

Knows the screw specs (thread/size), or Has a way to get in touch with Crusader Arms

For reference, it's the Crusader Alcor sport kit

Pull them out and take them to a hardware store/Fastenal/whatever is close to you.

Uh oh. What'd you do to the screws? Hopefully not stripped. I'm following this post in case I ever need to get replacement screws myself.

nothing special after 900 rnds life on my rifle，they went loose 2 flew away， 1 stripped，1 snapped

You use loctite blue? I've gone thru around 2k rnds and mines have stayed put.

Considering the width of the head looks about the same as the rail slot, I'd guess it's a M3x0.5mm screw. No idea on length. Could be something else. Take it out and measure it.

https://www.mcmaster.com/ is a good place to look for screw specs.

Crusader Arms basically has no customer support.

Lol good luck with contact. I spent 6+ months trying to call (with literally zero answers of their phone or callbacks despite me leaving messages every time) and eventually getting through on their FB messages to the owner.

Finally got my product a little over a year after I bought it. But to reiterate, best of luck getting in contact.
