Buy recommendations Looking to buy a .306

I’m looking to buy my first 30-06 but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by the options. I’m looking for something under 1K but don’t know where to go from there. Any advice on brands/what I should avoid? (Edited because I am newer to this and put .306 instead of 30-06)

I got a Howa 1500 3006. Bolt is very smooth, made in Japan, very precise. The Howa platform has lots of chassis mods and everything if you choose to mod.

I got mine on clearance for 500 bucks last yesr, they typically run 800.

I left mine relatively stock, just a rail and scope. May get a bipod for it.
