Shitpost / Memes Valtro PM-5 Appreciation Post

Post image

Howdy Folks!

The Texan is back with yet ANOTHER Gun Appreciation Post, where today, we got another popular gun in Canada that was manufactured by Valtro, but now it’s made by Brixia, the PM-5 Shotgun, which is distributed by Savminter Enterprises in Canada.

I know this isn’t the only mag fed shotgun that you can get in Canada, since of course there is the Hawk-97-2, a Chinese 870 clone (Hawk Shotguns are one of the only few New Production Chinese Firearms we can buy in the states since Norinco was banned from importing in here), but the PM-5 is definitely one that is an option.

As for its legality, I don’t know if it is under the prohibited list in Canada, but if any of y’all have any experience with the shotgun, do tell your experiences in the comments!

Anyways, Enjoy!

The single best defensive/protection firearm available on the Canadian market, imo.

It ended up not getting a ton of attention due to the proliferation of other, newer, and more exciting guns either on, or coming into the market at the time, and the price of magazines deterred others, but it is unmatched when it comes to NR firearms that can go from legally stored to fully loaded in seconds.

And what most seem to overlook is that the PM-5 isn't an 870 clone so much as it is the 870 your girlfriend told you not to worry about. It's an 870 on steroids. Everything is beefy af. Even the reciever is thicker.

The downside is that some of the PM-5-specific parts are exactly the ones people might want to swap out; like the chokes and pump. So things like mounting a light isn't great. But if you can get around that, it's awesome at what it does.

Fwiw, although PM-5s don't seem to come in any more, Brixia firearms are still imported by Westrifle and their semi-auto is the steal of the century. Similar quality, and Italian-made, at a price that's right in line with Turkish guns.
