Considering that the Feds have specifically and repeatedly called out Saskatchewan and Alberta residents being unable to collect compensation because of actions of their provincial governments, their numbers should be 0.

We can collect compensation. Our government just had our backs and said we can hold them on the government's behalf to save money on storage while we wait for FAIR compensation on rifles, accessories, and ammunition.

I am a Sasky and not that it matters at this point but it seems likely their will be a court challenge to our provincial legislation. I am glad the SK government is trying but it is a high risk / high reward situation for us.

That could very well be what happens but for now, we can legally keep those guns in our cabinets.

I hear you, I am just saying that there were some people who wanted compensation but cant get it, because of these actions. I would rather keep what I own, I am just making the point that the Federal government told these people already they would get nothing pre announcement from the SK government, so it is crazy people even declared.

There is nothing in the SK legislation that prevents the Feds from paying someone compensation.
