So much so that CZ rimfire mags have started to dry up fast. I've dubbed my rifle "The Punji Stick", a ode to communist industry's fit and finishing standards.

So what can you expect if you've bought one? After wiping down the storage grease I gave my rifle a deep clean including the bore. During an initial function check I found the safety took a ungodly amount of force to operate, the action very rough, and a heavy gritty trigger. Naturally I decided to make a project out of this before even sending a round down range. I whipped up some lapping compound for the action to smooth up the action.(600grit silicon carbide grit and white lithium grease) I took a Arkansas stone to the sear and bottom flat of the firing pin. While the action was out of the stock I also noticed the lug for the front action screw was loose in the dovetail on the bottom of the barrel. After correct that, cleaning away all of the lapping compound, I adjusted the now honed trigger as light as it could go while still remaining drop safe. At the range I tested a dozen varieties of 22lr all over the spectrum, and surprisingly found my bore like CCI Velocitor and Stingers the most. All my groups were fired at 50m off sand bags, other that 2 brands of ammo, the rifle consistently fired 1.5" or smaller groups. Back to the magazines, the factory one is finacy, so I ordered two 15 round NDr Shooting Supply mags to play around with. Thanks for reading everyone, have a Happy Easter.

Can’t enjoy mine. It wasn’t ejecting, so had to send it to warranty repair after trying all available tips and tricks. Still waiting since February with no ETA. BTW, does anyone know how long it usually takes to get your rifle fixed by SFRC warranty center?
