Why does your 224 work and mine sucks?

Currently fixing a problem a shell flew around the inside of the gun and went behind the ejection port and i can see it when i remove the screws but one of the screws is stuck and now my gun has a few bolts out and a shell stuck in the body(leave it to turkey)

Mine refuses fo cycle anything but cci lr. Federal gets stuck in the chamber, the 597 mags don't feed right, only oem ruger mags even work barely reliably.
