Milsurps / Prohib Gun Show Pickup

Visited the Easter Arms Show here in Calgary today, left with this old girl. Eddystone M1917, Canadian marked! Haggled down the gentleman from $800 to $700 and I honestly feel bad about it... Looking forward to some good shooting with her this summer!

Thats a very nice rifle for $700. Never feel bad about getting a good deal on a rifle like this, because most of these guys paid significantly less for these guns back when surplus was cheap and available.

SO sick of guys scalping the fuck out of shit these days. Guy on gunpost listed a standard SKS for 1250, said hes trying to see how much he can get out of "guys that missed the boat".

Great way to help newbies get into the hobby "yeah I got this rifle for $20 and a firm handshake, time to 50x the price for some college student" fucking prick

Comically crowded, some cool things to see though. A couple of the older vendors accidentally brought some no-no gats though due to not knowing any better... Oh how far we've fallen.
