Milsurps / Prohib Beretta M9/92 Series Appreciation Post

Howdy Folks!

The Texan is back with yet ANOTHER Gun Appreciation Post, where today we have an Italian Classic Gun that was very popular back in the Canadian gun market before they were prohibited.

If y’all are Gamers and Weebs, y’all obviously will recognize it easily! It’s a basic pistol, yet it gets the job done!

I vaguely remember a time in the past when Italian Sporting Goods? had a pile of surplus police ones with the heel release.

I think during 2022 pistol frenzy, there were quite a few of surplus police Berettas on Tenda as well.

Some even bought them custom Resident Evil grip for it and it looked really nice.

The price was quite good too.

The very first gun I ever fired was a 92FS in a Vegas shooting range and I can credit that with starting me on the path to firearms ownership. I shot it pretty well for a total newb.

I regret not actually getting one before the handgun ban. I own plenty others but I should have added that one.

You can still borrow one assume you have a RPAL I believe.

If I can ever buy a hand gun it will be the Beretta
