Fix my gun New Derya TM22 Pro doesn't need the "buffer tube fix"?
I was about to do the "toonie fix" on my new Derya TM22 Pro, but I noticed the bolt stop seems to have been upgraded to a new white bolt stop that doesn't fit down the buffer tube (unlike the older bolt stop). So even if the rubber washer gets chewed up and pushes into the buffer tube, that white bolt stop will make contact with the buffer tube and should (in theory) prevent the bolt from traveling back far enough to cause damage to the charging handle. What do you guys think?

There used to be a wicked TM22 page on Facebook but it got taken down.
Multiple people had said the white buffer still allowed charging handle contact with the receiver after it was broken in a bit.
I still tossed a small shim in there to disperse the weight since my little rubber pad was already jammed into the buffer tube when it arrived.

Oh shoot OK I should probably do the toonie fix on it just to be safe then!

I noticed the rubber damper on mine was indeed getting pretty worn - I swapped to a 1913 rail which effectively filled the buffer tube, and now I don't need to think about it.
Toonie trick is still alive and well, though!

A prototype I've been working on. Still doesn't feed right, but it's close. Hoping to have more time soon to finish it up.

I noticed mine was a bit mangled already, so I tossed a washer in there to solve the problem.

My daughter put a toonie in hers and the centre came out and started rattling around.

Yes this is a known improvement that newer production has. They must've seen all the toonie mods!
