Fix my gun Stock replacements?
riverside arms 12 gauge double trigger/barrel.
the trigger group doesn't sit in the stock. It's an old gun i won A LONG time ago. i'd like to keep it and still use it but I'm not sure theres a way to fix it or if it's simple enough to just buy a new stock?
as you can see its severely cracked.

I’d use a good two part wood epoxy and clamp it, then I’d either cut a blade width slot across the crack, or two, and fill it with a darker wood, or alternatively drill two-three holes and screw in brass screws, not large ones just enough to secure both ends of the crack
Cheers
Edit Don’t drill super large holes, just enough to prevent cracking when you pin it with screws, also just make sure the threads are through both sides of the crack and saw of the excess and the heads

Seems like its already repaired once, just glue it back together

You can see there is an old repair in the same spot. My feeling is that the poor fit you can feel (like you mentioned about the trigger group) is causing the action to line up with the stock incorrectly and put more pressure on/break at that point. You can repair the crack but you’ll need to do some more fitment to prevent it from happening again.

You may be able to glue and pin it, worth a try at least. Otherwise Numrich or Western Gun Parts are a good bet
