Application / Regulation advice Benelli M4 status in Canada

Hi,

I am considering purchasing the Benelli M4 and found conflicting information online about its status - some say it's non-restricted, while others (at least one online store in Alberta) says that you need an RPAL for it.

Does anyone know its actual status?

It’s NR. There may be an R version available (under 18.5” barrel for semi autos)

Tactical imports had an m3 clone although it didn’t sell very well unfortunately and they discontinued it last month

Don’t, even the Italian authentic M3 was not very reliable. Spend that 400 bucks on some ammo and have more fun

Theres 2 versions. The long barreled one (18.5'') is non restriced. The Entry (14'' barrel) is restricted

Buy a panzer m4. These fkn idiot trying to sell genuine for 3700$ on firearms outlet. Mine works perfect hundreds of rounds . Buy 6 clones for the price of 1 🤣. Zero malfunctions

Nobody knows, we're still trying to figure it out. I think I'll make a post asking the same question just in case we find the redditor who knows on my post. If it doesn't work, make another one tomorrow.
