Gun and gear reviews Vortex Spitfire 3x Gen 1 - Thoughts?

Many people here have this optic? There’s one near me locally used for $300, but even that seems steep. Cabelas has them for $500+hst, but I seem to remember them going on sale for like $299.

Should I buy it for $300, or save the money for something else (for plinking mostly inside 100 yards)

vortex is a solid brand, i think the hunting Gear guy just did a review on the spitfire but not sure if it's the newer or older one.

at least with 3x vs 5x, I found target acquisition way faster with the 3x. like that's expected but i didn't expect me to notice it so much
