Feets / Collection / My build Searching for Henry Homesteader 9mm stock (pistol grip)

Post image

Hey everyone,

I’m pretty new to the group but I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy this stock for my Henry Homesteader 9mm. I have been searching for a while and haven’t been able to find it anywhere. If anyone knows a website or store that can help please let me know. I’m located in Ontario.

Thank you for taking the time to read the post.

It's from tommy enterprise, but I would not get it. His parts are wose than airsoft quality and only good for taking pictures, if you actually shoot your gun the parts will break almost instantly.

He should get his part machined out of aluminum. People will pay for quality rather than the crappy 3D printed resin stuff he uses.

You're right, and he should. But he doesn't. I have no idea why. I liked the grip and everything, even the drop in the stock was fine. But literally the second magazine and it started to melt and crack. I ended up using the grip and buffer/stock for a shotgun with aesa adaptor that's y'know, aluminum 😂

Thank you for the heads up, that’s unfortunate. Hopefully I can find a good quality pistol grip else where. I love the look of it.

I was supposed to replicate this part but in aluminum. A customer was going to mail me the Tommy part so I could copy it (don't have a Homesteader myself) but I never heard from him again.

If anyone wants this part done in aluminum I'll need something to reference, don't really wanna buy the part myself since I don't have a HH, wink wink

edit: Got someone sending me some parts, stay tuned, I'm on it like... uh.. a fly on honey or something I dunno

I wish I could, both the adaptors I got from him melted and broke. If you did do an aluminum version. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I absolutely love my homesteader

I'd like to pick one up but I've already got an RS22M, which sorta fills that PCC niche for me. Maybe I can justify it to my wife by telling her it's for work :P

It definitely sounds like a lot of people would be interested in buying one out of aluminum.

Any update on the aluminum adapter, because I will grab one ASAP Rocky if you build it!

I've got a prototype being made right now, if it works fine then it'll be about a month till I have something ready for sale. I'll be posting on this subreddit when it's available

Appreciate the update!

Can you do an aluminum handguard as well? Can’t find one anymore lol

u/NEUMANN-METALWORKS Neumann Metalworks Apr 07 '26

Yes I'll be making one, a pic rail and an upper handguard of sorts

Midwest industries makes one, it's the one I use. You should be able to find one at RDSC, they have them in stock regularly

1

u/Minimum-Guest-5301 Apr 07 '26

Yeah I emailed Midwest industries and they discontinued it but I’ll check out rdsc thanks

If you have successfully replicated the buffer tube adapter for the Henry Homesteader I'll buy one ASAP. I bought the Tommy Enterprise version and it was great for 2 trips to the range. Design is there, materials are wrong.

I've come up with my own design, it's similar as there's only so much you can do (rear of the Homesteader is quite cramped) but it should be ready in a month or 2.

I just saw your website, definitely checking some of that stuff out. I'd love to know how the SKS handguards fit on and the scout scope base I have but I can't get my pin out, I'd also love to know what I'm doing wrong there 😂

1

u/NEUMANN-METALWORKS Neumann Metalworks Mar 30 '26

The Mosin scout scope or the SKS one? I have install tutorials on my website, they're in the top header

Handguards are very easy to install, they just slip into the ferrules, but removing the pin on the rear ferrule can be a bit of a task. There's lots of videos online about removing the pin: https://youtu.be/WHFWN-_lRc0?si=0Jxj9Y5RaikQoQ0Y

u/ASpacebornVagabond Mar 30 '26

I have a type 56 arsenal 26 SKS, I'll check out the videos thanks for the heads up!

Exactly! It's always for research right? If you were close to Northern Ontario I'd probably just drop mine off to you so you could design something but I love her too much to ship it out anywhere. Plus it's my go to assault coyotes/bear gun. The H9 eats any ammo you put in it, hollow points, aluminum case, unless I'm just lucky this thing is the tits. My fiancé even loves shooting it!

Do you do CNC work in house? I have a very specific diving board mount I might need fabbed for a build.

1

u/GFN_good_for_nothing Mar 30 '26

Hey brother would you be open to doing the same with the quad rail hand guard for the tm22? If so what would the ballpark cost be?

1

u/Petrupetru737 May 07 '26

I would like to get it in aluminum. I just bought 5he Tommy one. I hope it doesn't break when i use the gun gun

u/CamoGuy13 24d ago

Ive broken 3 of them. Whats the update😂

2

u/mew-pew-pew Mar 30 '26

Unfortunately nobody seems to make a sturdier (eg machined metal) pistol grip adapter yet.

2

u/ASpacebornVagabond Mar 30 '26

Sadly there isn't one, which is very surprising. But in the states they really don't need it since they have plenty of PCCs to choose from and here no one is confident the homesteader won't get banned so no one wants to put in the money to develop and stock these things in metal. Although I'm surprised Kodiak defense hasn't just decided to do it

I love my homesteader and have close to 4000 rounds through it, hasn't missed a beat. I had a few light primer strikes with a particular ammo, but since then I've used that same brand and it's fine. So maybe it was just that particular batch. The only issue I have is the guide rod/ handguard mount where there're those two screws that go into the barrel, they keep coming loose even with loctite, although I haven't gone up to red, only used blue so that might be my next step. Get the Midwest handguard, I have it and it's been awesome, although the brass set screw got fucked up in mine and I just took it out. No issues since

u/NoSuggestion6602 Jun 25 '26

Is this still the case I was looking to get stock and buffer tube?

12

u/ASpacebornVagabond Mar 30 '26

Stay away, it's Tommy enterprises and I had two of these and they both melted and snapped with their first use. The second replacement he sent was supposed to be "improved" but there was no difference at all between them. He was actually supposed to send a third replacement, but I never heard back from him again

3

u/Emergency-Service696 Mar 31 '26

I’ve been trying to get a hold of him for 2 weeks, no response. I’ve never had an issue with his customer support before but.

1

u/ASpacebornVagabond Mar 31 '26

Yeah not surprised. It sucks but if we are lucky maybe he will do them in aluminium. We can hope I suppose

2

u/3e_Design Mar 30 '26

It is 3d printed. out of BC if I am not mistaken.

1

u/AurthurR95 Mar 30 '26

Do you know who does it?

4

u/3e_Design Mar 30 '26

sorry, all I know is they tend to break. I am trying to design one in aluminum but without the crazy-low stock placement.

6

u/Vintage_Pieces_10 Mar 30 '26

Tommy enterprises. Really swell guy but he’s had some quality control issues

2

u/Lopsided_Ad3516 Apr 07 '26

I have one from Tommy. First one cracked installing it. Second has held, but I'm not particularly rough with my stuff. I know others have not had a lot of luck, but I've ordered some things from him with minimal issues

u/Petrupetru737 May 07 '26

I just bought 2 sets of handrail for .my homsteader and Alcor. And i see tou guys talking about that it breaks. I hope not.
