Man, I was super tempted to buy one of these. They actually look super fun. I ended up buying a Savage Revel instead and love it.

Still tempted to grab one of these. I have and see virtually no practical use for it, but that's not a reason to skip on buying it!

Love your reviews by the way. Also saw you pop up on the news the other day.

Fellow revel owner, what's up? I love the revel. Shoots straight, smooth action, and silent AF with CCI quiet. I keep thinking I want to put an optic on but some guns just feel right with irons

Love the Revel. Only have maybe 100rd through it just cause I don't shoot a ton of 22lr these days, but it's a great rifle, beautifully finished. It was what pushed me to the Revel vs the Henry, the wood stock was nicer on the Revel (and it's made in Canada which is cool).

It kind of sucks that Savage went with a proprietary rail pattern for the Revel, so no "off the shelf" rails will fit it, only proper option is the $80 or $100 Revel specific.

But, I did hear from a guy on here that a Weaver 63B (same pattern as the Homesteader, 336, some Henry's), will apparently fit the Revel somewhat since you can buy a 63B rail for $15 on Amazon, although the screws themselves are different. I think he used 6-48 screws if I remember right with a 63B rail. Let's you mount an optic for $30 instead of $100.
