Application / Regulation advice PAL Application Question

If you are a Canadian citizen no convictions here and have a criminal record in the USA is this something you need to disclose this information in the application, do they look at records in the USA or is it best to talk to CFO or a lawyer?

Talk to a lawyer. Not the internet. Not the CFO.

I don't think they ask that. Never give the police more than what they ask for.

If it is asked then obviously you need to answer.

The PAL application form only asks about criminal code of Canada convictions. So in your case the answer would be "No".

I think it would be about the nature of your history in the US. If it's violence related history then they will probally turn you down, they will probally find out you have living in the United States especially if you have a U.S. Citizenship or change in addresses.
