Red Ensign. Our flag until 1965. Did you know God save the queen / king was our anthem until the 1980's? O Canada was only adopted in the 80's.
We used to be very British.

Does the P1907 bayonet or either of the No.1 Mk III's have Canadian army acceptance markings. I have an original 1934 dated Canadian red ensign that I should use to put together a photo shoot like this one.

Enfield and Ross for the rifles, correct?
Iβm not savvy enough to know the revolver, is it a Webley?

Random question... Did you happen to buy that top one at an auction a couple years ago somewhere around Belleville area?

I bought it from tenda a few months ago. But there might be some connections since tenda is also in Ontario β¦ who knows

Gotcha!
just for transparency... so you don't think I'm some creep. My wife's cousin had my grandpa's .303... which looked very similar to that one. And he apparently sold it to an auction company... I've been trying to track it down. It look's so similar, including the mismatched bayonet.
That said, I'd never be able to confirm if its the right one anyway so I'm kind of chasing shadows at this point... but figured I would ask!
Thanks for answering!

Leftys will likely report you as being a Neo Nazie because you own a "White Supremacy" (Red Ensign) flag, its sad that this is what Canada has become.

I don't the he's saying it's a white supremacist flag, he's pointing out some some people on the left will level the accusation that's it's a white supremacist flag. Some neo-nazi groups have flown it in the past, so sometimes lefties try to claim it's bad now (which is dumb because those groups have also flown the Maple Leafs flag)

This flag represents what a Canadian is and isn't. This app is ridiculous some times.

Monarchy glazing and a dogwhistle? In my gun sub? No, wait, that's actually not surprising at all.
Bring on the downvotes from butthurt cons, lmao

Dude the ww1 and 2 kit is just neat, and it'd be weirdly anachronistic to have the modern canadian flag with it.

u/Karmic255 Mar 30 '26
The kit is very cool. I also didn't say it had to have the modern Canadian flag, or any in particular. Just pointing out the obvious.
