Gun and gear reviews Backland hunter
Ok here me out
I have some good and bad about my experience so far. I have only owned it a week and without firing it I have had a few issues “some my fault”.
The build quality seems to vary on the different firearms themselves. Powder coat is about the same some have noticeable blemishes and some don’t. My original issue was out of the box the trigger group pin did not stay in place. I was hooked up with a new pin and trigger group a few hours after purchase. There is no manual or paperwork shipped with the firearm which is a huge drag. Any new owners to firearms will not have a step by step for disassembly and cleaning. My next issue was taking the trigger group pin out and removing the trigger the spring and keeper went flying. My place of purchase was able to help me out and get me the new components necessary same day. I did end up swapping the trigger group pin out for the True North Arms threaded option. I than upgraded to the TNA ambi mag catch as well.
Looking forward to getting to the range on Sunday and will make an update than.

Waiting on for an m4 adjustable stock to be available, that was the only pistol grip I was able to get. Everything else is sold out everywhere.

The stock is sending me lol I’m down with any and all cope but that stock doesn’t look good on literally anything 😭

I agree🤣 but it’s the only pistol grip for sale anywhere that’s in stock. I’m waiting for an m4 adjustable stock.

Hopefully, it won't have to be renamed to Backhand Hunter, having to continuously keep smacking the fuckin' thing when any action/feeding problems arise because of low QC.

I’ve got one just like yours in FDE but I put the Mesa tactical stock on instead.
I really like shooting the rifle but there are some issues you should look out for. The magazines absolutely blow, I was having constant issue with the gun jamming on the last round and in practice they don’t fit the 5th round when loading. I’d recommend getting away from them to save yourself the headache.
The factory charging handle is too small imo, it’s annoying whenever you have to charge the rifle. Also the bolt carrier group has a pin that’s too long that holds the firing pin in place to prevent it from rotating. It’ll make pulling back the charging handle feel like crap and scratch the hell out of the inside of the rifle.

Appreciate that! The charging handle definitely is small, already have it ready for different mags. I’ll keep that pin in mind! Thanks man
