News / Politics / Activism Public Safety not providing values hinting that funding has exceeded budget limits

public safety seems to have run out of money already as some who called for values are not being responded to by the typical 10 business days and beyond.

has anybody received a callback for compensation when the website states to call in ie. $1

can an ATIP be done on the payouts, if any, including what was listed vs what someone received? So then someone can also run the retail pricing of said items so there's an active record of the so called "fair compensation"

Yes, but Public Safety will likely take 6-12 months to provide a response, and the values will likely be redacted under Section 18.

So the redactions would need to be challenged via a complaint filed with the Information Commissioner - which will take another 8+ months to process and potentially investigate the complaint, make a determination on the redactions, and if release the information if the complaint is deemed to be justified.
