i'm aware, my point is there is more to this program then the 100 guns it helps the CCFR's lawsuit. and help fund their informational campaigns that fight the liberals lies. i donated 300$ and don't care if I win anything cause its a great cause!

Also curious of this. Bit of transparency would be good but I'd imagine 100 savage64f rifles wouldn't sell any donations
Edit: just want to be clear that donating to the ccfr especially today is an excellent idea regardless of the motivations.

The full contest details say the 100 firearms have a value of 90,000 dollars. So average 900 dollars each

CCFR radio podcast said a few and boy there are some honeys. Obviously there is some 22lr and some semi auto shotguns. But their legal counsel donated a 6.5 creedmore precision rifle. So there’s definitely some grand prize guns in there.

According to the fine print there are 100 guns totalling $90,000 in total value. I'm guessing lower end bolt actions or shotguns.

Good catch. I did not pay attention to that. Can I use some handwriting font? Lol. Forcing handwritten does fix this issue. No one's writing 1000 words to save 20 Buckaroos. At least I'm not.

At the end of the day it's just worth donating since they're at least trying to get things done. I just donated and renewed my membership. Hoping for the best in both the contest and the court case.

If your not a member become a member. Let’s get those numbers up. Donate and support the cause.not only are there benefits to being a member they are a great advocate for our community. Oh and it’s raining guns!!

Still some unanswered questions. Why would they mention that taxes etc are the responsibility of the winners? Would we have to pay tax on a donated item? Also, do we have to pickup from somewhere or will they ship, and are we responsible as a winner to pay for shipping?

Sweepstakes winnings are tax free in Canada.
If you’re a US citizen/greencard holder you could be subject to US tax on any winnings from gambling/contests/lottery. So likely what they are covering with that provision.

From what I can say, The taxes and fees garble is standard contest rules, copy and paste that from literally any other giveaway.
You don't have to pay taxes on winning as such. Tax on 0 is 0.
Firearms would be shipped to winners, it would be absurd to expect winners to pick up firearms that could possibly be 4000km away. Im certain they will be shipped and shipping will be covered.
Im not going to balk at paying 20$ to ship a free 900$ gun even if that were the case.
When you buy a raffle ticket in person from any other giveaway they are full of rules and regulations like these, you just have to ask to see them.

They would still have to follow all applicable laws re: the transfer of an NR. So yes, they would need your PAL to verify you are legally allowed to acquire the free firearm
