Feets / Collection / My build 2 Years with a PAL - Legal Property Rights Are Human Rights

Confiscation of Legally Obtained Property is Not Aligned with a Free or Democratic Society. If they succeed, it sets a precedent for taking anything they want at any time.

Cleaning Day

From the bottom

Turkish Delight: Citadel AD-500 .308 Semi Auto, 5rd Magazines (surprisingly awesome and shoots a 3 foot flame from the front because of no muzzle device). Never had an issue and surprising quality for Turkey.

Rossi 30-30 R95 - Lever action - Go-to hunting gun perfect for any Canadian game

We will skip that one

Top: Bubba SKS

Property Rights are basic human rights.

We don't have rights. Have you read the charter of rights and freedoms? One of the first lines says our "rights" can be done away with by any such law or order the government wants.

Have you not seen what’s been happening in BC with literal peoples houses and land?

Our country is not a serious place. It’s a shame. I used to love Canada and be patriotic. That’s all gone now. I don’t know if it will ever come back.

"I used to love Canada and be patriotic"

It is crazy how often I hear this. Not just in the firearms community.

Same exact boat brother, I even regret serving this dumbass country

u/Prestigious_Fig4800 Mar 21 '26

I pray to God every day that it does. Every day I hear stories like those and its so disgusting. Its wild to me that these people are still in power and keep getting votes but we already know why...

I’m in the same boat, I can’t wait to vote for separation here in Alberta

6

u/Prestigious_Fig4800 Mar 22 '26

I really really wish that would happen but I feel like the feds/crown would never allow that but I wish provinces could opt out from this Canadian experiment. It used to be good but a few bad imports started rolling in the past couple decades

Yeah let's implode the entire country, the rest of Canada can just go f itself eh

4

u/brandon-568 Mar 22 '26

Yes it can

u/boognight220 Apr 14 '26

That's misanthropic, we need to stand together or we are all completely fucked. I know the rest of Canada is acting retarded, but throwing a tantrum and running away is going to implode the country. Alberta cannot stand on its own as much as the idea sounds nice.

The rest of the country needs a kick in the ass to realize what is happening, and i say this as an ontarioan. Canada needs to start respecting freedoms and personal liberty, or it should balkanize so that the provinces can make their own independent choices.

2

u/brandon-568 Mar 22 '26

Exactly, I’m from Ontario too but I’ve been living in Alberta for the last 13 years.

u/boognight220 Apr 14 '26

I 100% agree 👍

2

u/PrestigiousStatus711 Mar 22 '26

Yes. If the rest of Canada wants to continue to fuck themselves that is their choice. I'm done with it.

1

u/boognight220 Apr 14 '26

Then we are all done for. Alberta will be fucked also. There's no way that separation will work out for anyone, Albertans included.

It's so cute when you people say we have rights. It shows a fundamental lack of understanding of the Charter.

This is Canada. Rights can be added or removed at His Majesty's pleasure.

u/Prestigious_Fig4800 Mar 21 '26

Yeah its insane how this whole thing has been

You're making a very bold assumption about how far I'm actually willing to take this.

My comment was more about the average gun owner, and citizen, of this banana republic we call home. But yeah, keep attributing motive to people you know nothing about. I'm sure it will continue to work out exceptionally well for you.

A governments unwillingness to recognize your rights is not proof of their absence.

Having a government that does recognize your rights makes that government far less likely to commit acts of violence to continue the abuse of those rights.

11

u/Lopsided_Ad3516 Mar 21 '26

Property rights are the only rights.

7

u/Prestigious_Fig4800 Mar 21 '26

Until they aren't.... like in BC or anywhere else in Canada, like if you decide to renovate your property and they find a human bone on it, and then the tribes take everything and make you pay for the excavation and archeology costs...

8

u/Lopsided_Ad3516 Mar 21 '26

Oh I'm not saying our government has any concept of the protection of rights. Trust me, I'm about as anti-State as they come.

5

u/Prestigious_Fig4800 Mar 21 '26

yeah totally. its really sad what this country has become

4

u/WhackDanielz I <3 shitposts Mar 21 '26

Life liberty property.

5

u/Lopsided_Ad3516 Mar 21 '26

Anything you own. Yourself, your thoughts and words, and your property.

Every other "right" is a demand of the labour of others.

1

u/the_vengeful_taco Mar 24 '26

Unfortunately the Canadian Charter does not recognize property rights as inherent rights. Canada actually has some of the worst recognition of property rights because there is an assumption that the Crown has radical/underlying title. The Supreme Court has never explained WHY this title exists - only stated that it does.

My flawless reading skills skipped over the “from the bottom” and I was bamboozled trying to match them from top to bottom lol

How is the AD500 to clean, anything you had to do out of the box to get it to run smoothly? The proprietary mags is a bit of a bummer, there is no way to “adjust” it to take other mags eh?

2

u/nschwart91 Mar 23 '26

PE Trudeau, ironically, wanted to include property rights in the Charter, but the provinces blocked it. They were afraid it would limit their ability to do things like expropriate land.

What’s going on with the magazine in the third one? Looks like some sort of adaptor

u/HappyCan7250 Mar 22 '26

On the M1? I believe it's actually the Chiappa M1-9 instead of an true M1 Carbine. I had one for a bit. Mine ran like shit and was awful, sold it just a bit before it got banned thankfully. Feel bad for the guy who got stuck with it though.

Heard some run okay, but mine could barely put 5rd through it without jamming. Feed angle is very very steep and causes a lot of issues with them.

Should've just bought a true M1, but either way, they're fucking paperweights because the Liberals think a wooden stocked WW2 carbine is scary.

I don't disagree with your message...frankly, you're preaching to the choir. What I do Not understand is why on Earth, when your message is about protecting Your Personal Property, you would not only list it, in detailed fashion, AND provide a studio-style photo of all of it ???!!!???

NONE of that makes sense. Why are you telling, and showing, the authorities, exactly what you have, so they have an easier time if they decide they want to collect it? I have questioned the incessant practice of humble-bragging on this sub-reddit for Years. It makes absolutely No sense; using the fight for gun rights as the rationale behind bragging about the guns you have.

I get it; you're proud of the guns you own. You should be; they are All engineering and machining marvels. But, given the climate of Government overreach on our rights to own them. showing them off is about the dumbest thing you could do. Jesus, I have two son-in-laws who are great, honourable men. They're married to my daughters, for God's sake; they would be at serious risk if they weren't trustworthy. I haven't even shown THEM where all my gun safes are, much less what's inside them. The LAST thing I would be doing in today's climate is posting photos of them
