Strikes me as illadvised also, Then again I think posting pictures of your guns online is a bad idea anytime, but that seems to be the purpose of this sub

To each their own🤷🏻‍♂️ I post my guns on my public account because I really like them… I also like to think that it makes people understand that at the end of the day it’s a tool/toy and people can responsibly handle firearms without incident.
