Misc Looking for a club

Hey folks, I was looking around for gun clubs in the area and wanted everyone’s recommendation.

Ideally I’m looking for one with outdoor and indoor ranges, preferably within a 2hr drive from Milton/Halton Region.

So far I’ve found Silverdale which many of my friends mentioned, but looking to see if there’s any good ones I missed.

For indoor ranges in the GTA, have you checked out Burlington Revolver and Pistol Club, Down Range Sports, Urban Tactical, Range 519, Target Sports Canada, Aurora Gun Club, or Gagnon Shooting Centre?

For outdoor options, consider Sharon Gun Club, Toronto International Trap and Skeet, Barrie Gun Club, Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club, or Uxbridge Shooting Sports.

519 member here. I am ending my membership. Originally i liked their 24hr access. Now they stopped that for newly registered members. They banned shotguns, no blackpowder, reduced hours, and lowkey have a passive aggressive towards me since they have a new person. Ive been member since 2021 when they first opened. Cant even borrow a pair of safety glasses without paying. 🙄

Range519 doesn't have an outdoor range, but their indoor range is modern although I think it's under 25 yards. I can recommend Waterloo County Revolver Club, but if you end up joining, pay attention to the calendar on their web site when planning a visit since they have a lot of tournaments there.

Yup, I make the trek out there from Vaughan (2 hour drive). Worth it due to the low volume of people and generally everyone there is super chill.

While it’s still a ways away, Keep an eye on the Guelph rod and gun club site, November is renewal month and they usually open the waitlist to the public to fill spots of members who don’t renew.

Guelph is having an open house this June 6 follow them on FB for updates .2 indoor ranges and 6 out door with many disciplines

Silverdale is a dump.

I would suggest Galt or Guelph

Milverton Rod and Gun has a 20yd indoor and a 100yd outdoor. Membership is decently priced, and if you volunteer 8 hours a year, it’s cheaper to renew!
