News / Politics / Activism Liberals quietly cut money available for compensation in "buyback" by nearly $200 million

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EhXUU2OV6w&t=3s

According to Calibre Magazine looking at Treasury Board documents,, the Liberals have apparently cut the money available for compensation in their "buyback" from $250 million to $64.8 million, with no notice to current or future participants.

We tried to to tell everyone their guns would be seized and they'd get nothing.....

Honestly, you should probably just stop with this extraneous, hyperbolic nonsense.

We're trying to fight a policy that defies all logic and common sense and these kind of arguments do absolutely nothing to help us.

Also, use some proper grammar if you're trying to make a point. Your comment is an embarrassing mess....

[tampons] Might come in handy to plug bullet wounds

Absolutely fucking terrible advice, this gets people injured further or even killed. Paper towels & tissues are safer for wound packing if there's no gauze available.

Modern tampons are very different from the ones made during WWI, the way they absorb blood is the exact opposite of what you need to stop bleeding in a wound and can introduce friable fibers into the blood stream. Any clots that form will be undone when the tampon is removed and will make bleeding control on the surgery table harder than it needs to be.

Anyone who tells you that wound packing with tampons is a good idea is either an idiot that should have their credentials questioned, or in the case of the Russian MOD for example, has close to zero regard for your well-being.

Thanks for the info. I do understand the stupidity of packing tampons into bullet wounds and where I first heard about this was from the Russian MOD.

I just ment it as sarcasm or dark humor.
