Misc Firearms and house insurance

Anything special to consider? Do you have some/all of your firearms included as scheduled items?

It's not covered I've called, you need to include them as scheduled items as OP said. Insurance has coverage under them as "sporting equipment" but won't be covered under general insurance even if you have all the documents. The cost varies but I think for a 10-15k coverage I was quoted an extra 600 or so per year for this.

Depends on the insurer. I work for one and we'd cover your contents, firearms included. If you happen to have a collection of rare or antique ones, that's where you'd want to schedule.

Do you know which insurers would do this because I'd switch my condo insurance to them.
