Misc Firearms and house insurance
Anything special to consider? Do you have some/all of your firearms included as scheduled items?

You should definitely check the wordings of your policy or your insurance agent to see if there's coverage for sporting goods and equipment, if there's any special limits for your policy for such items, and if you're being covered on replacement cost basis or actual cash value.
If you do schedule a firearm, you can typically schedule it for Replacement Cost basis and with a lower or zero deductible. They may or may not require bills of sale as a part of scheduling, but you should be hanging onto those for warranty sake anyways. I've also occasionally heard of appraisals being needed, but that would have to exceeded a certain value (I think usually 5k?) before they require it.
