Buy recommendations Suggested Websites to Purchase
Just got an update on pal application and it’s approved and getting mailed out. Just doing some early searching so I’m ready to pull the trigger on something once the license is in hand. Any suggestions on website? As of right now I’ve been scouting out firearms outlet.

When in doubt any of the vendors on CGN or on the lobby groups like CCFR, CSAA, NFA that are listed are good to go. Easy way to check if they are legit or not. Mind you places like I run guns seems odd but it’s just a us importer and they’re good to go.
Also check who’s local and go into their shop. Support your local community when you can.

Any local shops? You can see, feel and shoulder it before you buy. You don’t deal with shipping. It’s a place you can go to for ammo and accessories later, and it makes jobs in your community.

Check your local shops. You can actually handle the firearm before you pull the trigger ( pun intended )

Firearms outlet is my favourite site. Tenda has good prices too but they take a long time to ship stuff (7-10 days), FOC is 2-3 days before they ship it.
G4C is good too and I find is the fastest to process orders, often they will have it shipped out the next day.
Marstar is good, a little slow to ship, but has the best customer service I find, any questions or issues that arise they've been very helpful with me. They do also offer layaway which I used once and it was a helpful option for some of the more expensive stuff.
FOC is my go to though, because they have 3% cash back in points, which you can redeem for money off, or free shipping, so almost all my orders I get shipped for free from them. By the way, there's a coupon code with FOC that always works, SAVE10 will get you $10 off any order, if I remember it right, and CART5 is another one you can apply to any order at FOC.
Dante Sports is my go to for optics though, they have some good sales on optics quite often.
SFRC is also a good one, and they always have great deals around any holiday usually with 14% off and free shipping.
The Gun Dealer is also a good site with good prices on firearms. Reliable Gun in Vancouver also has some good deals sometimes.

I'll second Reliable Gun in Vancouver.
Besides all the usual suspects that have already been listed, depending on what you're after, Intersurplus and Great North Gun Co are also pretty good resources that fill a niche. They have a large selection of milsurp and sporterized milsurp rifles, and well as vintage/older/used firearms. Might require some more research on your part to make sure what you're getting is right for your use case (especially as a newer shooter), but they have some neat, interesting, and relatively affordable stuff to peruse.

Tenda is good for ammo, they ship slow though but it's free so.
Canada shooting centre, RDSC, G4C, Tesro are all good outlets I've used personally.

If you're new to ownership, I recommend grabbing a 10/22 (and an SKS and a mossberg depending on your wallet). Don't forget hearing and eye pro as well.
