Don't get too excited here guys. The article says they haven't charged the homeowner at this time. They can very well come along a few months later and lay charges.

I'd love for this to not be the case, but police frequently lay charges well after the event.

No, the police (YRP anyways) almost always arrest the home owner on the night of the event. Then the charges are withdrawn months later once no reasonable prospect of conviction is determined.
