Is it safe to assume the gun used was a non restricted? I’m just curious if the homeowner had used a restricted, like a handgun, even if the gun was properly stored is it likely they would’ve been charged in that scenario? I guess I’m wondering if the type of firearm used would’ve affected the outcome here.
