Feets / Collection / My build 4 months of pal, discovered I really enjoy firearms
get to shoot these almost daily on the farm, here's a break down of my toys
Winchester model 37 single shot 12g Was passed down from generation to generation by the family I bought it from
Smith and Wesson Eastfield 916A 12g Was sitting in a hunting store unloved, took it home and instantly became my favorite
Savage 64 .22LR My first gun I bought on day one
Tulsa SKS 7.62x39 Matching numbers and in amazing condition
Lee enfield No4 MK1 .303 British This thing has been through WW2 and it shows. Lots of wear and tear everywhere but it gives it a but of charm

Ill just start displaying more on the walls they make great conversation pieces especially the old milsurp rifles

For me its the history that gets me. I love buying a gun and spending a week doing research on it so I can yap my wife's ears off until I buy an other. Shooting them is pretty fun too

Got the same Savage 22. Great gun and scope combo for cheap. Plus it's pretty fun to shoot with very little issue.

Ive had a lot of issues with chambering especially with winchester ammo. Still a great little plinker to use from time to time

Quick fix I believe there is a video on YT the feeding ramp jist needs a little touch with a dremel, and perhaps magazine as well I did that woth mine before I had 100 rounds through it And hasn’t failed since (now well over 10k)

Really? I've shot a couple thousand rounds through mine and only had a few jams or misfed rounds.
I haven't shot winchester rounds though. I've only used federal ammo. Not sure if that would be the difference.
But yeah fun plinker to go target shooting with every now and then!

Winchester products have really gone down in recent times and its very disappointing to see. Old winchester guns are some of the best out there yet the newer ones just feel like garbage

I saw YouTube clips about reviews and read online a lot and got the same feeling about newer guns by old famous brands
Anything 80s or before are well made.
Sako, Tikka stood out in the reviews for newer models

All the fun for 1/3 of the price. Plus a sportirized no4 almost 100% means that the rifle was used in WW2 combat which is also very kewl

Stock up on SP 180gr and 150gr when it’s on for less than $40 a box. Fun for target and great for coyotes, deer, moose and bear. People talk about bush guns and reliability, this rifle will last through anything. Accurate as far as anyone will need for hunting. Pick up a couple more, it’s nice to have a back up or parts rifle too, you can never have too many

Got it for deer, im thinking of getting it drilled to fit a scope on it. As for feeling the weight and lenght is absolutely perfect on this thing. There's something about it that just feels right when handling it. By far my favorite rifle that I own

Restoring an Enfiled is a great project. You are lucky the barrel has not been cut down.

This one ill keep as is I love tha patina on it. You can barely tell the original serial number and manufacture date on the original WW2 piece between the wood parts. It's a really nice savage made FTRed in 1949 no4. Currently hung on the wall with the SKS but I plan on getting a German Kar98k to put next to it I like the idea of 2 sides of the same war on the same rack

Next on the list im thinking a german Kar98k, milsurp 22 bolt action or a bergara b14 wilderness.
For lever action im waiting to find the perfect old Winchester but the rule is I have to find it used in a hunting store

Perfect rule!! Have you checked out websites like Intersurplus yet? They bring in a bunch of old used European guns, over from Europe for cheap.
You can find stuff like old Browning Bars, Lots of Side by side or over under shotguns, European bolt actions and occasionally a semi auto shotgun or two. They probably would have some millsurp 22s and kar98ks

Nice wood collection so far. It gets worse from here. I check GunPost daily for deals and always have the itch for a new gun
