Saturdays are for the Range

Asked the son if he wanted to tag a long and we headed off to put some rounds down range. Son had a great time with the S&W 1854 and Taipan.

I tried a 5shot group at 100yards with the Taipan before packing up. I’m sure it can do a hair better properly bagged and setup but we were just ringing steels on a sunny Saturday.

What optics on the taipan? I just got mine and not sure what to go with it leaning towards vortex 1-6
