Milsurps / Prohib Colt M1911 Series Appreciation Post (Once again, Disclaimer in description)
Howdy Folks!
The Texan is back with yet ANOTHER Gun Appreciation Post, where today we have the one and only!
Colt M1911 Series.
Disclaimer: I am already aware of the shit that Colt Canada is doing and I do not promote what they are doing. However, please keep those in the Megathreads, because my posts are not grounds for politics, nor are they intended to be political.
Anyways.
The Colt M1911 Series is a classic, and it was once available in Canada as one of the more popular pistols that you could get. I mean it is a classic and doesn’t need much introduction. It’s an over 100 year old design, and it STILL is relevant, even to this very day. In fact most modern pistols pay homage to the 1911 series with their recoil operation, why? It’s just a great design that is simple to maintain, and it works!
