Gun and gear reviews Mini Mauser

Post image

Any thoughts on this? I just saw Adriel’s, AKA hunting gear guy, review on this.

Looks… fine? Has anyone shot this thang yet? Please share some experience on accuracy and reliability.

Thanks in advance.

I have one. It shoots well enough for a plinker after a buttload of work.

The parkerization is too thick in the chamber. It wouldn't extract until the chamber was polished some to reduce the high spots.

The iron sights shot well but look absolutely crooked. The rear sight mounting ears were welded on not straight. The front sight post is cranked over to compensate from the factory as a result.

You need to put the included metal magazine into a waste bin and buy a CZ magazine instead.

The wood chips easily around the bolt take down lug in the buttstock.

It is charming but if I didn't have an understanding and patient god father I would probably still be sitting on a sofa watching TV trying to run the bolt manually over and over again trying to polish the janky wear surfaces smooth.

Yeah, in order to shoot straight I had to move the irons all the way left. I ended up putting a scope on it because it bugs me a lot lol
