Gun and gear reviews Mini Mauser
Any thoughts on this? I just saw Adriel’s, AKA hunting gear guy, review on this.
Looks… fine? Has anyone shot this thang yet? Please share some experience on accuracy and reliability.
Thanks in advance.

This is a newer batch than the one I got mine from so, there may be some differences, but:
Mine came shooting off of the sights so used a punch to drift the front sight over, and discovered that other than the sights being off, it is accurate. I doubt it rivals many other rifles at longer ranges, but in the 25-50 yd ranges that I shoot at typically, it's made a reliable plinker and grouse gun. It has a thick barley corn front sight that I absolutely love and is very Mauser, with a sliding tangent sight with range markings which is kind of a neat novelty, and works pretty well.
My bolt wasn't bad for grindiness, it isn't glass smooth by any means but works just fine. CZ .22 bolt action magazines work in these if the one yours comes with sucks as has been the latest talk, my original was and still is very good. They are heavy, dense little guns. I think that if you want a milsurpy plinker and are willing to take a bit of a gamble on a cheap Norinco, it may be the last .22 I would give up, tons of fun.
